Leading Off
The Orioles won their lone game of the week against the Miami Marlins. Yeah, those Miami Marlins: the ones who showed this offseason that they were trying to lose. On the other hand, the Orioles, who were making one last go of it before their team fell apart to free agency… have fallen apart to the Baseball gods.
There is literally nothing we can think of that will make you feel any better. Buckle up, O’s fans.

Here is what is happening in the world of Orioles Baseball, in 280 characters, or fewer:
Congratulations to the Baltimore #Orioles who finally win their 20th game of the season. They are now 20-50, and on pace to finish with a 46-116 record

We wanna bring style to D.C. this summer. There's only one AL shortstop who can do that. 🔥#VoteFrankie https://t.co/SxKr6K77Jl

#Orioles had a well-attended Yoga session on the field after the game. My favorite part was watching a woman walk out of the park with a yoga mat in one hand and a cigarette in the other.

#Orioles have interviewed former #Dodgers GM Ned Colletti for an executive position, sources tell The Athletic. Team also believed to be interviewing others, but have not asked permission to speak with anyone currently working for a club. Colletti is an analyst for SportsNet LA.

Around the Bases
With another fantastic week under our belts, we don’t want to spend the time to get to deep into any one topic (we can only cry so hard). Therefore, we go around the bases, and touch on:
First Base
The Orioles interviewed Ned Colletti for an unnamed executive position. Do we believe the story, and if so, what position was he being interviewed for? If Colletti isn’t the right candidate, what should the Orioles be looking for in their next GM?
Second Base
Chris Davis was actually benched. Is this what’s best for Davis? Is this what’s best for the Orioles?
Third Base
Let’s look at the horizon, and consider what may be in the minors that could hep sometime soon. There is something down there… right?
Home Plate
Ghosts of Orioles Past – Fond Memories Edition. Jake and Andrew take turns talking about the players from the Buckle Up Birds era that they remember fondly.
The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly
Who had a great week? Who had a tough week? Who made us ashamed to be Orioles fans? Find out in this week’s GB&U. The guys run through their Good, Bad, and Ugly for the week.

Blowing the Save
Most podcasts try to end on a high note – the perfect coda to a quality program. That’s just not our style. Each week, we’ll end on a weak note, blowing the save with an item that didn’t quite fit into the episode, or something they simply need to get off their chests. It’s our version of taking the ball and pulling a Kevin Gregg.
