Leading Off
Spring Training continues, and another season of Orioles Baseball is getting closer. No, that’s not a threat. In a season in which the team promises to be dreadful, we look to make our own fun.

Here is what is happening in the world of Orioles Baseball, in 280 characters, or fewer:
How much are the O's playing "catch up" in their rebuild? During today's game broadcast, asst GM Sig Mejdal told @masnSteve that most teams have 10-12 analysts working on advanced player performance data.
When Mejdal arrived in Bmore, the O's had 1 #Rebuild— Mark Viviano (@MarkWJZ) March 5, 2019

After a Santander double, Rickard hits a bloop RBI single.
Note: Orioles have so many current and former Rule 5 players. I kinda wish Flaherty, McFarland, Verrett and Garcia were here to join the party.

Around the Bases
With so much “action,” we go Around the Bases in this week of Orioles Baseball:
First Base: Spring Training hot takes are terrible.
Second Base: Broadcasting changes
Third Base: 2019 Promotions
Home Plate: Scott’s investigative reporting
Rosterbation
In past seasons, guessing the roster has been an easy task – we’ve waited until deep into Spring Training, and many spots have been locked up by returning veterans. This year… anything goes.
Jake and Scott both give their best guesses as to who will be on the active roster on Opening Day. The answer may not surprise you, but it’s sure to make you sad. Orioles Magic, feel it happen!
Fantasy Boss
In this week’s Fantasy Boss, we take the over/under on Chris Davis being with the club on June 15th.
Jake took the over.
Scott took the under.
The real challenge is this: will either of us remember this bet by the time June 15th happens?
The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly
Who had a great week? Who had a tough week? Who made us ashamed to be Orioles fans? Find out in this week’s GB&U. The guys run through their Good, Bad, and Ugly for the week.
Tweet us your selections @birdseyeviewbal with #OsGood, #OsBad, and #OsUgly.
Blowing the Save
Most podcasts try to end on a high note – the perfect coda to a quality program. That’s just not our style. Each week, we’ll end on a weak note, blowing the save with an item that didn’t quite fit into the episode, or something they simply need to get off their chests. It’s our version of taking the ball and pulling a Kevin Gregg.

First listen from a big O’s fan from Nova Scotia Canada. Was expecting more talk about what’s going on with the team and less listening to 2 liberals talk about life and little baseball. Thanks for the effort but probably won’t be back. Good luck with the podcast
Thanks for stopping by, and for reaching out. Like most things in life, the show isn’t for everyone. Life’s tough – wear a cup.
Thanks also for the backhanded compliment – I appreciate knowing you probably won’t be back.
