Leading Off
We may have lost some games to the rain, but the Orioles weren’t all wet – they ended the week at .500 – splitting series with the White Sox and the Rays. That’s like a real baseball team!

This Week on the Twitters
Here is what is happening in the world of Orioles Baseball, in 280 characters, or fewer:
I ran out of my normal podcasts and re-tried one. Over 10 minutes into the pod and not one mention of baseball. I just quit it.
Please talk about mainly baseball on a baseball podcast. Or just call it two lonely dudes talking.

Orioles gave out free ponchos tonight too. I've never seen them do that before but I appreciate it pic.twitter.com/KsDixwaMUO

On the Move?
Orioles fans had to face their long-repressed demons this weekend, as a guest on one of the local-yokel radio stations spread a rumor that the Orioles might move to Las Vegas. We discuss why we as Baltimorons are so susceptible to this kind of danger, and how likely it is.
We also discuss the ongoing MASN saga, and how viable Baltimore is a MLB market.
Real Baseball
Hey, there was actual baseball this week! Did you miss it? Don’t blame us – blame it on the rain. Topics include:
- Anthony SANTANDAAAAAAAAAH
- Come from behind victory and defeat in Chicago
- Meet the new Drew Jackson
- How excited can we be over John Means?
Fantasy Boss
OK, maybe Jake got a little excited with the Chris Davis talk last week. He went big, but was not rewarded for it. Dwight Smith Jr.’s single HR won it for Scott, bringing the contest to 2-1-1 in Jake’s favor.
This week, Scott makes the dongs more complicated. He recommended a “Dong Multiplier.” Basically, the guys weach choose four batters (only two allowed to be in common). The first is x1. Second choice is HR x 2. Third choice is HR x 3, and Fourth choice is HR x 4. There’s math involved, careful out there, folks.
Jake’s picks:
Renato Nunez
Pedro Severino (x2)
Trey Mancini (x3)
Rio Ruiz (x4)
Scott’s Picks:
Jonathan Villar
Dwight Smith (x2)
Chris Davis (x3)
Trey Mancini (x4)

Blowing the Save
Most podcasts try to end on a high note – the perfect coda to a quality program. That’s just not our style. Each week, we’ll end on a weak note, blowing the save with an item that didn’t quite fit into the episode, or something they simply need to get off their chests. It’s our version of taking the ball and pulling a Kevin Gregg.
