Leading Off
We’re getting very near the end, and the Orioles are no better than they were the last time we invaded your earholes. It’s getting to the point where we don’t care how good or bad the baseball is, we just want to enjoy the baseball while we’ve got it.
And if there’s a team built for that experience more than the 2019 Baltimore Orioles, we’ve never seen one.

Here is what is happening in the world of Orioles Baseball, in 280 characters, or fewer:
If you're not convinced the Terps and Ravens are both gonna poop the bed this weekend, you haven't been a Maryland sports fan long enough

We bought the @Orioles $30 ticket pass for every home game in September. It comes with a general admission ticket. There are between 10-15k people here tonight. Went to sit in this section in the 6th inning, and was immediately told to move. Great fan experience. pic.twitter.com/IPfHFEnOHI

Tonight's #Dodgers v Orioles game is on FOX. With Rich Hill returning, a small crowd expected and the technology of field microphones, it could be a colorful listen.

Trump is coming to Baltimore today for some GOP shindig and traffic is expected to be a catastrophe because there is an Orioles game to go on at the same time. Why isn't there any media reporting yet?

The Great Debate
As we prepare to make difficult decisions as a nation, we take this opportunity to mock, and tackle the hottest topics of debate in Birdland.
Fantasy Boss
Scott got a little crazy last week: he gave Jake the option of taking any living human being over Chris Davis in wRC+. The living human in question, of course, was Mark Trumbo. Jake took Trumbo, and the rest is history.
Jake has advanced to a 10-6-1 lead.
This week, Jake picks (because, why not), and selects the number of strikeouts a pitcher will complete.
Scott selects Dr. Poo Poo himself, Steve Wilkerson, and Jake goes with Asher Wojciechowski.
Who will own it?
The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly
Who had a great week? Who had a tough week? Who made us ashamed to be Orioles fans? Find out in this week’s GB&U. The guys run through their Good, Bad, and Ugly for the week.
Tweet us your selections @birdseyeviewbal with #OsGood, #OsBad, and #OsUgly.
Blowing the Save
Most podcasts try to end on a high note – the perfect coda to a quality program. That’s just not our style. Each week, we’ll end on a weak note, blowing the save with an item that didn’t quite fit into the episode, or something they simply need to get off their chests. It’s our version of taking the ball and pulling a Kevin Gregg.
