This Week on the Socials
Around the Bases
First Base: State of Starting Pitching
Burnes is an ace. Grayson is a solid #2. Bradish is still holding together. And the rest of the rotation is a major league #3 – #5. And there’s a little depth.
How far can this rotation take this team? And how fragile is the rotation?
Second Base: Gut Check
This is where the season gets real. Or… is it?
Six games against the Phillies and Yankees could make or break this season. Unless… they don’t? These are big series, to be sure. How will the Orioles respond to the challenge?
Third Base: Getting a conspiracy theory to catch on…
James McCann is catching an awful lot these days. And he’s doing it a lot with Corbin Burnes. AND he’s doing it when Cade Povich makes his MLB debut. WHY?! What does he know?!
Home Plate: Rough Patch
Jake whines about the T. Rowe Price patches that he calls “sellout badges,” while Scott remains logical about the issue. Coming from different places, they agree that the outcome is negligible.
Trade Winds
The Orioles are “intently exploring” their options for pitching and (for some reason) right handed outfielders. We discuss who the 2024 Andrew Miller is, and what exactly we’d be willing to give up.
Fantasy Boss
Jake out Ryan’d Scott on who will hit the longest dong, and so he narrows the score to 6-4.
This week, the category is the number of hits.
Jake selected Jordan Westburg. Scott went with Jorge Mateo.
Who will own it?
Who had a great week? Who had a tough week? Who made us ashamed to be Orioles fans? Find out in this week’s GB&U. The guys run through their Good, Bad, and Ugly for the week.

Blowing the Save
Most podcasts try to end on a high note โ the perfect coda to a quality program. Thatโs just not our style. Each week, weโll end on a weak note, blowing the save with an item that didnโt quite fit into the episode, or something they simply need to get off their chests. Itโs our version of taking the ball and pulling a Kevin Gregg.
