Orioles Unveil 60th Anniversary Patch

The Orioles will be celebrating their 60th season in Baltimore with the following sleeve patch:

You know the story: the St. Louis Browns followed their 54-100 1953 campaign with a move to Baltimore to take on the name that had been associated with baseball in Baltimore for decades.

There have been ups and downs, but 60 years later, Baltimore has a proud franchise history worth celebrating. The Birds took their first step in doing so with the patch. A World Series parade would suffice, don’t you think?
