Poll: Where Are You on the Reimold Scale?

By now, I’m sure you’ve heard. You could tell by the great disturbance in the Orioles social media, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out… 

That’s right, the Orioles have tendered a $1.025MM contract to Nolan Reimold. This move was expected, as the Birds’ brass made it clear that they would tender contracts to all nine arbitration eligible players, but I suppose it’s even worse when a thing happens than when it is expected to happen.

So Reimold will be back in the organization. At this point, we know the drill. Reimold has all the makings of an offensive presence in the lineup, and adequate defense in left field. He’s also made of glass. Instead of wondering if this will be the year that he puts a healthy season together, most fans have gotten cynical to the point where they just wonder when he’ll get hurt. What can you say at this point? Reimold has returned. Only time will tell if the Orioles’ patience will pay off, or if this will be another wasted season from a once promising ballplayer.
