Who Votes Orange?
Major League Baseball and its 30 clubs would like to remind you that it’s All-Star voting time again. They know how much fans love the All-Star Game, and are also well aware of how much money they can make off of it. I’d like to stop to point out that Firestone paid a boatload of money to become the “exclusive sponsor of the 2013 In-Stadium All-Star Balloting Program.” Yes, that really happens in this world. What’s more, MLB.com will allow you to vote 10 extra times, if you register on their site and provide them with your email address.
I’m sure that their intentions are pure…
Cynicism toward the business of baseball aside, I’ve been wondering: who actually votes for the All-Star game, anyway? And how do you do it? Please take the brief survey below, and see how you compare with what passes for “normal” in Birdland.
